I started street style because I saw Nam and Tommys work and thought that if I could even hold a candle to them, my existence, with respect to photography, would be validated.

This week I got to spend more time with them than anyone else and got to know them on a personal level. Nam showed me photos from his days in Korea, and I’ve watched Tommy imitate and make fun of Nam while eating pizza like a married couple. Day in, day out, 8am to 530pm, rain, sun and snow. 

Its been a very weird six months for me and I am still getting a grip on it, but its going to take a fair amount of time before I come down off the high of spending the entire week with the two living photographers I look up to most. 

I’ve never met someone in this industry that I didn’t like, but I’d have a hard time finding two guys nicer and more welcoming than these two.
